I was really looking forward to this book in ebook format, and bought it as Kndle book. What a disappointment! The book is written to use DVD that comes with the paper version and no provision has been made to get the sample files if you buy the ebook. So, my effort to save paper and plastic appears to be all for naught, and i own a book that is all but useless. The link that is referred to by another review comes up empty. The publisher has responded that there are no files available on line to support the book.

Love this book and DVD. Very detailed and simple to follow. Learning things within Aperture 3 that I probably would have never discovered on my own.

I’m a new Mac user and at the same time my passion is photography. So I bought for my new Mac the Aperture software: I think this is the best book about this program for the clear text and the complete explanations.Very useful indeed!

This is a great instructional product that goes way beyond the manual that comes with the program. If you are a serious photographer and/or editor, and you are willing to be diligent with your studies this is the trainer for you.
I did run into some trouble with what seems to be a malfunction of the disk. It is not obvious where to go for help. Once I worked through that I was treated cordially and was supplied a new disc or download (my choice) without any hassle.
